Customer Service Representative



Job Description

Job purpose:

  • Answering the telephone and dealing with customer enquiries in an award-winning fashion
  • Assist with quotes and policy updates
  • Dealing with midterm policy adjustments
  • Completing tasks requiring outbound calls to be made to our existing customers
  • Creating policies for new and returning customers whilst providing any information the customer requires to make an informed choice

  • Be able to adhere to all appropriate regulations and internal processes


Various full-time positions available, candidates must be able to work one permanent weekend shift a week.

  • · Department opening hours Monday - Friday 8:00 - 20:00, Saturday 09:00 - 17:00, Sundays 11:00 – 17:00

Permanent – 37.5 hours per week


We believe in providing the very best customer service so our training is 4 weeks of office-based learning plus 2 weeks live phone training where you will be speaking with our customers on the phone, with a safety net of the trainer listening in to offer you support

Required Skills

Essential skills, knowledge & experience:

  • Competent Microsoft Office user, including Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Excellent Customer service skills
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Excellent timekeeping and attendance
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Previous customer service experience essential
  • Previous telephone-based call centre experience ideally preferred but not essential
